That's worth grabbing. You could resell it on eBay for more than that! (and it'd still be worth it!)

    Router snaffled.

Actually a miss-label. The price was supposed to be for the 1400w router, but they honoured it anyway (just for that one). My mate got the 2hp, I grabbed a 1400w'er.

The $99 price for the 1400W router should be chain-wide, in case anyone's after one (normally $280 or so).

    Thanks Whaler, good call!

Guys, for those resident in the same environs as me, I just rang the two local BigB's up here on the northside of Brisbania (Stafford and Carsholedine), and neither of them had clearance prices on anything other than a few router bits, etc. The smaller router would have been very nice for $99...

    C'est la vie, I suppose...

The Bunnies near me often seems to have very little on clearance during the week. It all rolls out on Saturday morning though.

The other day I described to my daughter how to find something in the garage by saying "It's right near my big saw". A few minutes later she came back to ask: "Do you mean the black one, the green one, or the blue one?".

The bunnies down here only had the specials come through from head office this morning, so they may not have filtered through yet.

If you're up for a road trip, go down to the store and get them to scan the router at the checkout to check the price - it should scan at the discount price. If that doesnt work, wait a day or two and check again...

Yeah, I might just give that a try Dangermouse, because I'll probably be driving past one on Thursday... Thanks for the suggestion!

Default Not many to be found

I called 4 stores around Sydney today - all had nil stock. I ended up buying the demo model from the store near me. No fence and no collet spanner, but at $99 who cares? They are flagged as a deleted item, so they won't re-stock them and they won't order them in.
