    Default Shark vs Kayak

Intersting story on NSW Sea Kayak Club site where a guy had his new carbon/kevlar kayak munched on by a shark off Tasmania.

It is not really something you would think of when building a kayak (his was an Aussie built Nadgee ) but shows that for those 1 in a million events it might be worthwhile considering a bit of extra puncture resistance on the hull of a sea going kayak or canoe.
If I do not clearly express what I mean, it is either for the reason that having no conversational powers, I cannot express what I mean, or that having no meaning, I do not mean what I fail to express. Which, to the best of my belief, is not the case.

I paddled with John a couple of months ago on Tuross Lake. It seems the experience hasn't put him off kayaking.

What he doesn't mention in his account of the incident is that he had the foresight to use his wife's kayak for that trip.

    The short answer is yes.

A longer answer is yes and he was recounting some of his experiences as we paddled around Tuross Lake. He certainly has some entertaining stories to tell about some of the places he has been and the things he has done.
He doesn't show much sign of slowing down either.
