    Default GMC Routers for $59

    Hi all,

Saw this in a local brochure, thought I might mention it to the rest of the forum:

    http://www.harrisscarfe.com.au/catalogue.asp?p=17

Harris Scarfe has 1/2" GMC Routers for $59!, at the bottom of the adv there is a mail order number as well so you can still get one if your not near a store.

Or you could take the brochure to Bunnies and claim another 10% off

Just ordered one. Thank you very much Joe

Craig, I was thinking about the same thing. But I don't think they will match it becasue Harris Scarfe has no store in Sydney. They just won't do it. Give Bunnings a call.

    Cheers

    Scott,

How much are they charging you for delivery?

    Darren,

It is $7.70 for anything under 20kg and takes about 12 working days to deliver.

    Default gmc router

I visited Bunnings at Waurn Ponds ( geelong) this morning armed with the Harris Scarfe catalogue.Enquired about the GMC 1050 watt router.Great sales splurge until I produced the Harris Scarfe catalogue and asked for the extra 10% off deal .Told the one advertised was a different model, already checked with HS which is R1150 the same as Bunnings have priced at $99.Sorry no stock avaiable until middle of next week,(I guess after the 30 th when HS sale ends).

Good Oh. One more reason to loathe Bunnings. I wish BBC had never sold out to them in NSW.

    Angry

Ditto in WA. There is very little choice of "hardware" stores here now - especially if like me you don't consider most of those available to be real "hardware" stores anymore but rather general junk shops!
