thicknesser table lifting mechanism
I`m planning to constuct a thickness planner but i haven`t decide yet how to make the lifting mechanism. If someone can help please post some pictures. Thanks.

Have a look at http://www.owwm.com/ and browse some manufacturers for downloadable manuals. DeWalt and Craftsman are two that immediately come to mind. Also, search the forums here for "thicknesser." Typical lift mechanisms include two or more threaded rods, with their rotations synchronised by a bicycle chain. An idler pulley adjusts backlash to near zero, so that only one rod is handled.
