Just had a thought, if you're looking at the Hobbies site have a look at ser11,the Gothic clock especially, again not everyone's taste but reckon it's fretwork at it's best. I posted my attempt in Jan this year under - Revisiting the past.

Got a "page connot be displayed"..... noticed there's an extra space before the dot.... removing that makes it work fine

Had a look around and ....... never mind the fretwork patterns..... I'd love to get my hand on the old toy once.. specially the moving ones.... the walking animals , the marble chaser........ they look like so much fun!!!!!!

Best move we could have made. Been back about six times over the years and not happy with what we saw (the scenery, pagentry, history - brilliant - BUT!!!).

However they are available from Hobbies @ £3.95 plus postage AND you get patterns for four designs - coronation coach, victoria carriage, coronation chair and St. Pauls for the price.

    Have a look at
    www.alwayshobbies .com
and search for ser10 will come up with the Coronation Pack.

I've to do St Pauls then I've done the lot.

p.s. I am a pom (one of the £10 lot) so I'm biased perhaps with these patterns but they are interesting because they were prepared pre computer age so sometimes need a bit of juggling.

p.s.s. If you have a contact in UK then it might (?) be cheaper on postage that way but Hobbies will quote postage before ordering. Their website gives an email address. Hope it helps and would be interested to see your results.
Bob thanks for the info, yes true what you say best of British, won't hold it against you I'm actually a Freebie kids came free but have paid taxes since that would have got me a cabin on the QEII round the world tour.
Sounds good cousins still live there will see if she can arrange it.
