    Default tyros 2 (yamaha keyboard)

    Got delivery of a new Tyros 2 yesterday, any other members around here with this keyboard?
    Part exchanged it for the psr9000.

    Default How to setup band in a box for tyros2 keyboard

    Hi, I'm Steven I just buy yamaha tyros2 & band in a box 2009 ,Can you help me to set it up. Thanh You.

    USB lead from Tyros2 to usb PC. (I assume you are windows)

    BIAB go to Options top line of screen on PC
    Select Midi Driver Setup from drop down.
    Midi In should come up with Tyros 2 if Tyros on.
    Midi out, I use microsoft wavetable sw synth. (this means sounds are produced indepently of Tyros but Tyros will also use its own sound card and speakers for your own output played.)
    I would uncheck VST for the time being until you have mastered BIAB.

    That should get you started, then you have a 2 year leaning curve to look forward too.

    I use the catch all "ALL PARTS"

    If you get into midi other sections they are special items like pedals for midi etc. etc.
