Small CNC at lowcostcncretrofits.com
I stumbled across this small CNC router from the Queensland based lowcostcncretrofits.com
http://lowcostcncretrofits.com/hobbyrouter.html
They currently have one on ebay (which is how I found it)
I have no idea on the quality of the machines but it may be a suitable option for a beginner who doesn't want to build their own.
I have no links with the company.

Prices on the site are in USD, the router on ebay is comming from the states. Looks like hes just a reseller, Personally I dont like the design, ive seen it somewhere before, but since its small it will work just fine, till you want a 2400x1200mm cutting area
BTW look on ebay.com they have a few routers on there, best one ive ever seen is the K2 CNC's. Great Quality but I think he just sells Z axis's on ebay now I have his older version of the Z axis (Works and looks great)

On first looks it seems very comprehensive ... not sure about the price?
I wonder why our forum has never heard of this company before.

Buy it now price of $2100US for one or $500US for the other.
Of course shipping has to be added to that. The one in Aus will obviously cost a bit less for that.
To bring it up to equivalent deal add,
Gecko G540.... $300US
Power supply....$80
Case................ $50
Misc...................$100
TOTAL...............$530
Anyone want one? I'll put a package together for $1500 US

Their prices seem xxxy when you add up an equivalent as you did. It's probably James Packer trying to make up for a few billion he is down due to the financial crisis!
