Oiling Tormek Honing wheel
In the Tormek book it says, When new impregnate the leather wheel with light machine oil.
what type of oil do you use, is 3 in 1 Singer sewing machine oil OK?

personaly I would use neatsfoot oil

I think it's just a matter of using a fine grade oil, and thats the reason no additional instruction is given.

Just had an e-mail from the distributors, they recommendsewing machine oil.

I use Paraffin oil, works well and it is clear.
You can never have enough planes, that is why Mr Stanley invented the 1/2s
