    Thanks Underfoot, a very well presented WIP. I picked up on your 2 coats of proof Seal, it certainly gives a excellent finish under the wax.

    One of the best WIP's on this forum in my opinion. Thanks again Undy... I really enjoyed it the fist time... even more so the second as my skills have progressed a bit and I'm looking at trying some bigger stuff. Do you have a recommendation for a finish that has to cope with the weather in a marine environment?

    The day I discovered white beech (gmelina leichartii) is the day I gave up using anything else in a marine environment ..(or huon pine)
