    I have about 16mm of brush left. At a guess I'd say I have run the machine for a total of 10 hours.

    cheers mat, thanks for taking the time to answer, i now know that the brushes should last a lot longer than 6 hours.

    still waiting for my thicknesser, its a long 3 weeks, lost production/ money.
    i might look at buying a drum sander next.
