Default suzie's just a dancing machine

ok, I haven't thought of a title yet, just finished this one today,
huon pine, ebonised red cedar base and bits of sewing machines, clocks, toasters etc etc
hollowing out half of the figure to fit in the bits was fun

what if the hokey pokey is really what it's all about?

Really nice Underfoot, I love the contrast between the organic and inorganic elements, but the still live happily together.

    Awesome!
I'm looking forward to hearing a title, it's amazing how a few words can totally change the feel of a piece and put it into context.
I totally agree with Iggy, those clockwork-type mechanisms are a great juxtaposition with the human form!

thanks for the feedback folks, (better and cheaper than a psychiatrist)

funny thing, my shed is in a small industrial area and I'm always getting the local factory folk drop in for a cuppa and chat, they all think it's a bit strange, but they always come and check whats new, and they're never backward in offering advice and critique,
it's fun watching the mechanic the welder and the spray painter argue about the merits (or not) of a machine filled carved figure.

anyways, I'm off to NZ for a couple of weeks,to make a whole bunch of sculpture ( not sure if they have the interweb over there yet) I'll try to post some pics.

what if the hokey pokey is really what it's all about?
