You don't want you items to arrive damaged so a removalist who goes from state to state would the best but, they may not or not all of them deliver door to door.
Transport companies are probably cheaper but you may not get the level of care that a removalist gives.
They should all come to your premises to pick up the items so you don't have the run around dropping them off.
As for packaging that may become expensive if you have to get boxes made up. I'd say there are places out there that have large cartons of set sizes but they may not be suitable for some of the things you are sending.
Would you be able to get away with bubble wrap and or corrugated cardboard ?
Just a thought, have you done a search on google yet?

First of all i would package like crazy if it is a more fragile piece, Bubble wrap, paper, foam the lot, but if it something a litle more durable you could get a way with lots of foam in a box.
Now i personally would use a courier for things like this because it would be cheaper and if you choose the right one it will arrive in one piece. It is good to ask around and see which courier does a good job and also most courier websites these days have quick quotes on their website which only take about 1-2 minutes.
And for the box issue well places like Kennards self storage and other self storage places can sell you all different sizes of boxes. Also have a quick look at Ebay there maybe something there that suits your'e requirements.
Hope this has helped......Cub

well it's pretty simple first you go down to Additional options and you should see a button that says manage attchments. now we click on it, if it is on your computer (the file or picture) we press browse and select where ever you saved it and press upload once your done. Your done it's that simple

REMOVAL BOXES NOT BIG ENOUGH!
Holly Cow!, there not toys your sending, your sending cars!
If they do fit in a "tea chest" size box.... you will be looking at sucuring them to a skid (a small pallet) or a pallet.
then you have to pay pallet rates. and if you don't box them in, like a crate then you'll be charged top load rates too!
Heres an example, we're with TNT and have pretty good rates.
Two day delivery time, 1 pallet, 1m3 Sydney to Melbourne $129
Good Luck.
I think you'll be making ply wood packing crates nextSteven Thomas

Hi Horse -How often do you mail those toys? if on regular basis then it would have to be a courier. if on the other hand it's every now and then then if you or your friends know a truckie that travels interstate they could do it for you. Ive used this method a few times, the biggest thing I'sent this way was a coffee Table and 2 side tables.and thecost? a dozen Crown Lager.
Cheers Tony.

The are some threads on image resizers, also do you have microsft office if so no need to download just find microsoft office picture manager and open it, the resizing in this is pretty easy once you learn how. to find out how to use it just go into help and there should be step by step instructions.

Hi Horse
Box makers, storage companies, removalists and stationers all may sell disassembled cartons in a wide range of sizes. If you are selling stuff nationwide then you need to use new cartons otherwise your efforts look amateurish. Look up in yellow pages.
We recently received some quite fragile family heirlooms mailed from Ireland. They were wrapped in tissue and then bubblewrap and then placed in a carton. The carton was then filled with spray in foam. Absolutely no damage but interesting task opening the boxes.
Cheers
Graeme
