Drill-bit for concrete
Hi all,
I've got an old slab onto which I've got to drill some holes to bolt a few posts. I've tried using a few old concrete drill bits with a 1200RPM non-hammer drill, however all I did was end up burning their tips off
Went to Bunnings to look at suitable drill bits, but could not find anyone knowledgeable (perhaps due to being a new store). I saw a drill-bit for concrete from Sutton Tools (this -> http://www.sutton.com.au/Products/st...onhammerdrill/), would it be suitable (looking at 8 - 10mm bits)?
Also, would it work better with a drill with hammer function? Any recommendation for a normal handyman (not hardcore or trade), not being too expensive?
Thanks.
