Hi Everyone , Has anyone heard of a " Brittania Screw cutting lathe Size 13"
I'm trying to restore one of these lathes built between 1898 & 1930 .
I would like to know if anyone here has knowledge of these lathes .
I know it is a long shot but I've gotta try .

Thanks heaps from Ken Weekes .

G'day Kev , Thanks for that Info on my Brittania Lathe . I said it was a
Model 13 but after looking at your link I now know it is a Model 14 !!!
How did I miss that !
I've been talking to Tony @ Lathes for years . Just recently I promised to
send him some pics of my Brittania Lathe .
That Firm was interesting because they never fully describe the new mods to
their Lathes until a batch was completed ! They must have sent a parts
list with each Sale .
Anyhow I'm grateful to you for the Info . I would really like to hear from an
Owner of one of these Model 14 Brittania Lathes .
Really a long shot , I know but I can only hope , hey

Thanks Quasimodo , That's my Lathe alright . Now I think that it is a
No. 13 & 1/2 . The Tailstock is the same But small differences in the
Headstock .
Does it say who owns the Lathe on utube ?
Thanks for the tip !
Much Appreciated .
