Vicmarc have come up with the answer for a lot of people who have trouble standing at the lathe for any period of time and introduce the VL200 Sit Down Lathe and Stand. Have a look at the brochure and see the benefits of using a quality lathe on an adjustable stand.

Jim sells the VL200 for $5036 - does that mean he gives you $465 if you only get the stand?:D:D

The stand alone can be purchased for $1070.00
It is made to suit the VL200 short bed lathe but I am sure a bit of ingenuity could be adapted for other lathes.
