This is one of my newest lidded boxs Made of Spalted Sycamore, Walnut and Bolivian Rosewood

Can you take pictures with a different back ground so we can see more clearer.

Overall it looks ok

Nice work.

Not sure about the cove in the box top, and the supporting arc looks a bit lumpy to me.

I quite like it myself, particularly the curved support but a different color background would be good its hard to make out the object clearly.

I think the concept is fine. :2tsup:

But as Ern has said, it looks "lumpy". I'd like to see the same box done to say 2-3mm thick and see what happens....

Looks good to me,perhaps a thinner cross section to the support arch, as it tends to take away from the container . The thinner cross section would give the effect of suspension better.

But over all darn good effort :2tsup:

I agree with the other comments, plus I'd like to add that the finial is not quite in proportion, could do with a "slim" down...other than that it's a good turning.:2tsup:

Tell us a bit about yourself, how long turning, etc.
