Once the auction's about to close, the price will be ticking over faster than a petrol bowser. :sigh:

Wasting time at Carba-tec (MELB) today I spied the VL300 LONG ASM EVS with a price tag of $4500 brand new (display stock). Looks a good deal never used and full warranty.:2tsup:

Wow!

Went for $5200. They sure hold their value. Maybe I should sell mine.

I help it to get there, wonder if the seller will give me some commission?

Hey Greg yours at $3500 was a really good buy. Thanks for mentioning that Jim, modesty was preventing me from having a little "whoohoo" moment :U

I also got tools, an original meter long rest, 2 chucks, 2 banjos and Richard Raffan using my lathe in his books just to help with braggers rights.

Ok, smug moment over :D

A Vicmarc 250 has been listed in Brissy. Don't know much about them though I'm assuming that it's the precursor to the VL300.

Comes with a bunch of sorby's and other accessories

Does anyone know much about these beasties?

Cheers,
Dave

I think it was a VL200 with a cutaway in the bed at the head of the lathe.
