I had planned to do a lidded box but the first piece ended in disaster a nie piece of spalted Macadamia :~ oh well one bit may become a drop spindle for LOML.
I did have a 2nd bit so over the last few days when sunshine permitted I played with this hoping the same would not happen again.
Rushed photo's so will take better later on spalting isn't shown well
100mm dia x 60mm h finished with of course Macadamia Oil

Not sure about the bowl - it's blurry and I don't think I've had that much to drink :D

Mmmm.... nice bit of wood! I can see why you're peeved the first one died.
:think: 100x60, eh? So, you can still turn a 100x40 lid from a contrasting timber and slip it into the box challenge... :innocent:

finished with of course Macadamia Oil
...so now it's a nut bowl for, of course, Mac nuts:roll:
