hey everyone,

I just broke the belt on my MC 900 and really need a spare belt.

where can I get one?
Is there any place in port macquarie (or close to port) that sells them?

or if not where can I order them from on the net?

Thanks

Measure the length of it, and maybe the size across the top of the V
Then ring the auto parts places (if Port has them) or local garages and see if they have any in stock
Cairns may be your best bet (but not my neck of the woods)
Been up there once and some chap sent me to a wood store which had moved

I'm pretty sure you take the old belt to a car parts place (SuperCheap, Repco etc. etc.) and they'll find a match for you.

Cheers,
Andrew

do you blokes have an item there called "Link Belt". It looks like a bunch of chain hooked together and it can be made to any size by cutting it then putting the two links together.

It is superior to regular V-belts in the noise dept and vibration.

Link belts & Reeves pulleys aren't a good combination though, Ed.
