So far it’s been an intense but ripper course (one day to go) . Dominated by interstaters:oo: Three from Sydney and one from Perth (two are forum members:2tsup:) it’s been a bit different as two are making chairs and the others Hall tables. (Definitely need a beer at the end of the day to de-stress the brain) :D

Pic 1 - Forum member Mr T band sawing his tapered hall table leg.
Pic 2 - Mr A Thicknessing his lower Hall table shelf
Pic 3 - Forum member Mr B, one fifty threeing his chair leg
Pic 4 - Mr G Rotexing his chair leg
Pic 5 - Had to chuck this in:D. It’s our fold down Kauri (W.A) and Vic Ash, wall mounted work bench with magnetised tool holders…. Sooooo cool (we have 6, one for each student)

More pics to follow. Interesting, all the interstaters arnt gluing up, as they are flat packing home and wanting to glue up there (the cool thing about Domino joins:wink:)

The only down side is, they all want to go to the "G" to the footy but it’s over:(…. Maybe next year :)

Last day and the best one:D Great progress, and all completed their tasks on time. All credit goes to them for concentrating, absorbing information and working hard to complete a quality and difficult project over a short period of time.

Having no glue up saved time, but the down side is I have to wait for the completed photos to be passed on to see the final results:(. But some near completion shots below.

Pic 1 Greg dry fitting his chair (Eastern Mahogany and Red Gum splats)
Pic 2 Forum member Gooma (Brad) routing chair side rail rebate for upholstery
Pic 3 Brad dry fitting chair (Jarrah and She Oak splats)
Pic 4 Forum member Tom`s Hall table. Nice detail with the bottom shelf extended past the legs and held in with exposed tenon. Very very cool.
Pic 5 Andres dry fit. note the nice drawer base. Waste not want not:D Its all the off cuts thicknessed and laminated. Sure beats crappy ply:)
