Well, today I went to the tool sale at the mens shed at Homebush. Met Henry, lovely fella, and set up a table of tools. Before the doors opened at 9 there were people who also had stalls coming around and introducing themselves and buying stuff, great to meet so many "toolies".:D
The initial onslaught of buyers came in at 9 and it really didn't slow down for a good couple of hours. Met more Forumites ( hi y'all ) and had a yarn with so many people of different ages and backgrounds. Fascinating stories especially from the really experienced guys, who were more than happy to pass on advice and tips. When I got the chance to go for a wander I was blown away by the huge number of beautifully presented tools, never seen so many planes in one place before!:o
It was a great day and I even made a $ or two, had to control myself so I didn't start buying too much.
A great day all round, well done Henry, look forward to next years sale.
