Can not believe that you are unfamiliar with Malcolm Tibbetts and his book "The Art of Segmented Woodturning". DVD's also available from himself at www.tahoeturner.com (http://www.tahoeturner.com). You must live in a remote place, maybe even a separate continent in a whole other hemisphere. That piece in "Seggy's Dream" brought in something like $5,000 in a charity auction. Malcolm is the founder and president of the newly formed "segmented turning" chapter of the AAW. Just thought you would want to know.

Segmented turning is only something I do after a catch and some glue work :wink:

He is clearly very talented though which is why I posted the link. Thanks for the background information!

Segmented turning is fine but I think some of the polychromatic stuphph is a bit garish.

But hen that is just my opinion.
