Adelaide for the weekend

Me and the missus are flying to Adelaide Friday after work. We'll stay in the Adelaide HIlls for the weekend, then into the city for a couple of days where I'll be working.

Near as I can tell, the things to do in the Adelaide Hills mainly involving getting fat and drunk.

As enticing as this prospect sounds to me, was wondering if there may be something else worthwhile that didn't involve food or wine.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Couple of ideas - If you're up in the hills, try the National Motor museum at Birdwood...
Or the Royal show may still be running next weekend at the Wayville showgrounds (Not sure - it's on now).
Any sports bar will be buzzing next Saturday night for the Crows Vs. Collingwood telecast from Melbourne... If the Crows win, the city will go a little crazy for a while, lottsa fun.
It's unlikely you'll manage to get fat in the timeframe you've indicated... Drunk though, we can help you with. Particularly if you like wine - head to the Barossa, Clare or Morphet Vale regions... Enjoy.
