Groggy 10th September 2009, 12:12 PM Two in a row, Maloof and Krenov, both icons in woodworking terms. Sad days indeed, lets hope his passing is peaceful.
artme 10th September 2009, 07:46 PM Yes, sad indeed. Both were inspirational for so many woodworkers.

Ben from Vic. 13th September 2009, 10:05 AM May they both rest in peace.
I'm sure where ever they are will soon have nicer furniture.
Christos 13th September 2009, 10:20 AM My condolence.
Lignum 15th September 2009, 04:03 PM Very sad times for his family and extended woodworking family. With so many excellent tributes on the net at the moment this short vid (http://www.finewoodworking.com/item/18761/james-krenov-1920-2009) is priceless. His passion for his craft oozes out. It’s impossible not to shed a tear watching it. Very sad times indeed. :(
Different 19th September 2009, 02:30 AM I never met either Krenov or Maloof but consider both my teachers. Both the world and woodworking are poorer for their passing!
