Two in a row, Maloof and Krenov, both icons in woodworking terms. Sad days indeed, lets hope his passing is peaceful.

Yes, sad indeed. Both were inspirational for so many woodworkers.

May they both rest in peace.

I'm sure where ever they are will soon have nicer furniture.

Very sad times for his family and extended woodworking family. With so many excellent tributes on the net at the moment this short vid (http://www.finewoodworking.com/item/18761/james-krenov-1920-2009) is priceless. His passion for his craft oozes out. It’s impossible not to shed a tear watching it. Very sad times indeed. :(

I never met either Krenov or Maloof but consider both my teachers. Both the world and woodworking are poorer for their passing!
