Last may I put two rough turned maple bowls into a paper bag for drying.
Have now turned off the last.
Diameter 240mm, height 105mm, wallthickness about 12mm.
Finished with three layers of transparent acrylic water-based stain decoration.
Cheers, Ad

Nice shape Ad. Pity the grain look so uninteresting. As I said, good work.:2tsup::2tsup:

Hey, Ad, very well done turning on the Maple bowl, and I like the way you accented the base. :2tsup:

Ad, Not exactly my favourite timber . But you do a good job with shape and form.
It would be interesting to see what you might do with some highly figured timber .

cheers

Thanks guys, I reckon the wood is a bit boring, but more for light colored wood lovers.
