I had a go at a new type of resin called Enviro-Tec, I was put onto this by HazzaB I say it has been around for a while. I know Harry use's this on his clocks. It is a two part 1:1 unlike the other resin when setting there is no heat even when drilling, turns just the same. Even when it has just set it not sticky. Over the next few days I will try and label cast with it. It is a bit more expensive but not to much more.

Sounds like a urethane or maybe an epoxy type resin. If it is, most say it doesn't shine as well as the PR. I haven't tried it since I like the PR.
Let us know your opinion on it.

An epoxy resin to my knowledge, not as good a shine, and has thickness limits. It is an excellent product for finishing tables and clocks etc, if you like the really glossy finish, I've used it many times for that.

Good luck with it.

I've used this a few times myself. It is really nice on tables and clocks, as artme says, but it is quite difficult to use over larger surfaces.
