:U Hi all
Managed to get some good shed time this past week end.SWMBO was out with the grand kids and I had some Camphor laurel that was just jumping to get on the lathe
Both the camphor bowls are Around 220 dia the first one is 80 high and finished to 600 N/C sealer and EEE three coats of WOP
the second one is 100 high and also finished to 600 N/C sealer EEE and 2 coats of Shellawax the small cracks are sealed with CA
The third one is a lump of Olive root that I got from SA George about 6 moths ago it is about 60 high and finished the same as number 2
love your comments

Hoi Graham, you spend your time in the shop very well.
Beautiful work mate, If I had to make my choice as my favorite, it would be the second bowl.
Nice huh the lady of the house was gone with the grandkids, so nobody disturb you:)
Keep up your good work.

the olive is my favourite. Love the grain in the wood and I think the form is the most pleasing to my eye anyway.

Cheers,
Dave

Nice turnings Bowl Basher.

I will certainly be on the lookout for some olive tree cut offs after seeing that.

Cheers Stef.
