I have been turning wood for a few years and accumulated lots of bits and pieces.
I need some advice or tips about going to bush markets or craft fares.

Can anyone suggest which markets are good for selling this stuff, I live in the outer east of Melbourne , and roughly how much to ask?

Look forward to hearing from anyone with suggestions.

Hi there! I'm outer east too. I sell a bit of stuff at Kallista market. Mount Evalin isn't too bad either. Haven't tried many others. What to ask for you stuff? Tricky. You prolly need to try a few markets to get a feel. Also depends on the type of things you make. How about some pics?

Hope that is a little help. :C:D

As incredible as it might sound, some good information can still be found on paper. :D

On the September issue of Creative Wood NZ there is a very good one page article on "Selling and pricing your work" by a Terry Scott. Try to put your hands on it. I suppose we could scan it and put it here, given that it is only one page and it is for study and comment purposes, if they give permission. They have a website, you might want to contact them.
