A little clock

Not so busy on the sub-forum these days...:C
Anyway, I put together this little fix-up for a friend of mine whose birthday is on Saturday. It's barely five inches tall, made of scrap sassafras :D. Gave me a good chance to try out some faceplate turning on my lathe (I'm fairly new at that...)

the 50mm fit up or insert clock cost me around $30 (i know, too much i could have got one for half that if i'd had time:-) and the wood,...well, the wood is scrap so it cost nothing!
As it was a gift there was no price for this clock.Cheers!
