Good question Geoff. For mine the combo would be perfect as it would be like a hot knife through butter. A rip blade way to course. Suppose the most important thing it to first drain the milk:)

Funny how people couldn’t care less about holding a small motor with handle and 70mm of fast spinning exposed blade in their hand and plunge it into a slab of timber with “no” guide and think its cool… yet freak at someone pushing some wood/fibre over 4 or 5mm of exposed spinning blade.:?

Side note- does anyone here freehand cut on their table saw? i have for years. I know lots who do and didnt think it was an issue.

If I need to open a tin of coconut milk, what kind of blade would you recommend?

Well I did not say Oh f### but he is a card carrying eedjit.
However apart from the risk to digits it is a good way to open one. With a jig it could be done safely.
