Made last week a small alder table clock for our own, as a replacement for another small table clock which my daughter Karin grabbed for her new home.
Made it out of a cracked chunk of alder, this wood was not in a good condition anymore, some brittle spots and spalted on different places. Selected for this clock the best pieces.
The height of this clock 150mm, the largest diam. of the housing 100mm.
Finished with 4 layers Acrylic transparent stain on waterbase.
Thanks for looking.

Ad, that is really neat !!! :2tsup:

The shape reminds me of the engine RPM gauge I had on the dash of my '56 Chevy many years ago.

Arthur, the latest time I'm talking oval, thinking oval, dreaming in my sleep about oval, it really drives me crazy, my wife told me please think this time round, so I did :D
