Stool Project!

Hey guys, For my A level project i have to design a seating that would be used in a public place, based on a deisgn movement
Ive designed 2 stools so far. Below i have 2 incomplete designs (sorry for the poor drawing skills) . Currently im not happy with my designs, Could someone give me some feedback?

Well! Ive finished my project! I suppose this thread should be moved now (or deleted). Although i had no replies, or any interest in my design, i still have uploaded the pictures of the final making, Its definitely a lot better then the drawn designs! Any feedback would be welcome!
