Have the plan for a new wall lamp for the livingroom. Used for the design autodesk inventor 8.
The shade has open slats linked together with spacers at 5 places in the outline, and are placed between the fins.
For the lamp itself I'll use a electrical saving lamp of 15 watt, equivalent to a 60 watt lightbulb.
Have a few pictures of it presentation, so it is clear how it will look like.
The largest diameter of the shade is 290mm, and the overall height is 490mm.
It will be quite a challenge to build this lamp.
Thanks for watching.

Looks ambitious, but do-able. I'd suggest making the support arm somewhat more robust, though, even if computations indicate adequacy. If it doesn't hang quite plumb, the back of the mounting plate can be belt-sanded to correct - sort of a "fault-tolerant" escape procedure.

Cheers,
Joe

Maybe you're right, it's for now only a design.
Have to keep a critical eye on the details, when making detail drawings, like work method and the way how to make the fins.
