Hi I am making a table top and Iwish to chamfer the underside edge to about 30 degrees. Ihave seen a jig in a woodworking mag but cant seem to find it when i really want it. Can anybody put their hand on it!!?????????

unless the table top is very thick a bearing guided 30deg chamfer bit would do the job without any jig.
an unguided 30deg chamfer bit would do it using the standard fence if it is a straight sided table.

I have done exactly that, using a hand plane. You just mark it out, then, using a very long-based plane, shave it down to the level you want. Although nerve-wracking the first time I did it, it was easier than I thought.
