I have been turning them for ages, but always have a lot of rejects due to the void inside.
Mainly turn for pen bits or key ring fobs.
Tried to turn a few beads for the SWMBO but getting anything turned down to a fine size is very difficult.
I'm experimenting with coloured resins to make a feature of the cracks and voids. It is coming along with some more experimentation required.

I too like the creamy white ones but they do change colour over time when exposed to ultraviolet (sunlight) eg keyring fobs.
I usually finish with jewellers rouge and a cloth to get a really nice shine.

If anyone has other finishes or ideas let me know, greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Lyle.
