 As a furniture and home restorer I surf the net a lot looking for info and am a bit sick off all the oversea's diy sites, as they don't explain how to do things in detail and some of the info is not even relativate to us here in Oz.
Well I came across this beaut Oz do it yourself information site the other day and thought I would share it with everyone. Check it out !!!! They have some great woodies stuff, home restoration stuff and a heap of free diy plans links.

:) www.diyinfo.com.au (http://www.diyinfo.com.au)

Hope this site can helps others as it has helped me.
Cheers

Great site Restorer, thanks for the address.

Passed the address onto a mate who will be more than pleased.

The site has some great projects for my students at school to get involved in.

Restorer.

The Admins of this board have no qualms with advertising on this site, but there are a few rules.

A: don't flood the board.
B: Say that it is your own site.
C: It is nice if they use their specialist knowledge to answer questions, as you have done for Jane in Finishing and not just flick in, flood and then don't appear again.

All your other posts have been deleted.

I hope you get the point.

Oh, & we do know that this website your advertising is yours or that you do have an affiliation with it.

Thanks for the heads up and Shane, I won't use it just for the devious way it was posted.

Well being of a curious nature I had look at a few of his links. Well what a whole lot of crap about it being an Australian site. All the links I looked at went straight to septic sites. Talk about false advertising.

He just LOSTme

I also found that a lot of them were dead also. I certainly wasn't impressed with the so called Ozzie site.

My sentinels perzacly!!

Wasn't all that long ago that a poster like that would have been fried to a little black crisp, while was still tucked up in the cot....what has happened to the minders on the board???

Second thought: What are you trying to hide Restorer? If you have to pretend to "come across" a site you are promoting, you ain't the kind of person I want to do business with anyway!!

Cheers,
P

& Shane

I would like it known that this is my own personal website that I and friends have been and are still constantly developing, it is a work in progress as we wish to share our knowledge with the public.
As being a new member to this forum I would like to apologise for my ignorance of board rules not only to the administrators but also to the members, if I have mislead them in any way shape or form as this was not my intention.
My intention (was and still is) to be able to pass on some of the knowledge I have gathered over the years to the members of this board (as in Jane in finishing) and not to just flick in, flood and disappear. At the same time I would like to invite the members of this board to visit my site, as I believe that the fact sheets we have posted and are constantly posting could be of some benefit to them, in answer some of their question on how to do stuff. We as a group of tradesmen that are only trying to share our knowledge.

Again I would like to apologise to the members and admin for any misunderstandings that may have arisen from my posting,
