Sorry about this Fred, but that Lathe is not a bargain. Maybe at $300, but certainly not at $750. You can buy a new one for less.

$750 for an old MC-900? I wouldn't pay that for a new one :rolleyes:

Still, you never know what kind of suckers there are out there. They probably saw that Vicmarc VL175 for $2,750 and thought they'd just knock the $2k off...:D

My theory is that he is under pressure from someone indoors to get rid of it but he doesn't really want to.

Even that is dear. I got mine from H & F for $ 390 a two months ago.
