View Full Version : Looking for someone to make a wooden kitchen

I hope it's ok to post this here? I came across this forum on my search for a wooden kitchen for my son, and have loved looking over the wonderful wooden toys shared by members here. Lots of memories of the lovely toys my late Grandfather used to make when I was younger. :)

I was wondering if anyone here could point me in the direction of someone in Qld who would be able to make a play kitchen, to order? Preferably in Nth Qld, but the Sth East is ok too.

I'm after something solid that will last. My husband is worried about the safety risks with MDF and I was thinking a solid wood like pine but I haven't got a real clue with wood and have no idea if that would make it too cost prohibitive.
I wanted something sort of a cross between these - Some Final Kitchen Photos Stu’s Shed (http://stusshed.wordpress.com/2009/12/10/some-final-kitchen-photos/)

I hope someone can help me, TIA. :)

Hi Carrie
I am in Tully Heads, 'bout 225 km up north from Townie.
How soon do you want it?
Cheers

Hi Wolffie, thanks for replying. :)

I didn't have a real time frame in mind... it's just something I've been hoping to find someone to build for my son since he was 18 months, he's 2.5 now, haha.
