Have a lot of scraps of alder, as left over pieces from other projects.
But in wintertime it's not always possible when the temperature is below freezing point, to do something in my workshop, but last week I had a lucky day.
Used than a scrap of alder for this nothing special oval low profiled bowl.
And it was fun to work in my shop for only one day, now it's icy cold again, and more icy stuff is coming into my direction, brrrr.
But here is the result of my one day work.
Dimensions 185x150mm, height 27mm

put a few slices of your favorite cake on it , pour a drink , sit down by the fire , and see in the New Year in comfort.
