I have been given some second hand teak boards 8ft by2ft wide 1 1/4" thick with lots of graffiti and initials lightly carved on one side.
I would like to make an outside garden table based on an octaganal design using the teak cut to 3" wide pieces.
Can anybody direct me to a free plan and whether readers think it would be a nice idea to leave the graffiti intact for effect?
Is it a reasonable idea to only use this teak for external work or can internal furniture be constructed using this timber . I am concerned that the timber might have an oily finish and not take finishing well.
