Present for my friend the Dentist. I have a return bout with him next week.
Timber is Tasmanian Tiger Myrtle and I made the Wisdom tooth from Corian.
One of the Poems on his card before Xmas quoted was Spike Milligans poem
entitled Teeth.
Engish Teeth, English Teeth!
Shining in the sun
A part of British heritage
Aye each and every one.
EnglishTeeth, Happy Teeth!
Always having fun
Clamping down on bits of fish
And sausages half done.
English Teeth! HEROES Teeth!
Hear them click and clack!
Lets sing a song to them-
Three cheers for the Brown Grey and Black.
Last visit as he was screwing a steel whatever post into my upper jaw one quarter turn at a time for ever it seemed he shared with me you have a very strong upper jaw bone
structure. With a face full of hardware and hands how does one reply to that.?
He is small I am not and as the chair tilts my head is nearly on the floor, however he has a marvelous sense of humour and a kindness with his undoubted skill so SWMBO and I count ourselves fortunate to know him. When my wife was quite young she lived in the country in Goulburn on a farm and one visit to her cousin the Dentist when he turned around slipped a sterilized sheeps tooth in her mouth. He calmly commenced sighted the tooth took it out drilled and filled it and popped it back in her mouth.
