Bridge in the clouds

Pictures of bridges seem to be the go (and the other bridge photo thread has turned into a chat between kiwigeo and me about being rufty-tufty offshore tigers).

These are some pics of the Millau Viaduct which is "one " of the bridges that qualifies as the highest in the world. The argument about highest bridge depends if you measure the height of the roadway or the height of the overall structure.

The bridge is part of the motorway joining France and Spain.

Al :confused:It's a new route to the south. I guess they had a choice of descending into the steep valley or tunnelling through the mountain. Looks very scary to me. Not sure I would want to drive over it!
