It sounds like me, but I don't know what "kalantas" is and I don't live in NSW.

School and hockey commitments meant he had no time nor money for woodwork.

Yup. I bought a bunch of his timber off him when he was clearing out his shed. He was off to Canberra to study and play more hockey (probably not in that order:D ) if I remember correctly.

Nice guy to meet, and I'm sure he'll be back someday.

Cheers,
Dave

Whilst you're in Canberra make sure you go for a drive out to the woodworks gallery in Bungendore... really an awesome gallery and there's at least one average woodworker out there too:rolleyes:

Surely Corbs you wouldn't tease the young fellow like that he's selling off more pen gear maybe he needs a lathe to turn them on.

Stirlo
Good luck with the hockey (but I can't work out why you'd want to play in the frosty/icy/bloomin cold conditions in Canberra)
My oldest (nearly 13) scored his first goal on Saturday - only took 47 games
cost me a pizza :D (or two)

Anyway I think there are a multitude of woodies to visit in the area

Glad to hear you're going OK in Canberra Stirlo. I was down there last weekend for a short break, and a fortnight earlier for a single day for work. It's a nice spot!

I'm still working my way through that pile of wood I bought off you last year... Still enjoying it :D

Cheers,
Dave
