I think this is worth a post. I havn't posted any photos before ,I hope this gets through ok. The timber is camphor which was involuted turned

That's cool Tweed. Looks like carving simulated by inside-out turning. Pretty clever.

Gee shame about the splitting/peeling at the top end was that formed by tightening the tail stock up to it very very hard??:;
