I'm looking for a post I just can't seem to find...

The post I saw was a mod that some very clever person had done to their cyclone dust collection drum to be able to use a plastic bag inside.

From memory the mod was some poly tubing or the like in a circle at the bottom of the drum that created enough suction to hold a plastic bag against the inside of the drum. The suction in the poly tubing was created by connecting the poly tube to the main ducting of the dust extractor.

Been searching for ages without any joy - can anyone remember the post or point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Geoff

Sounds like mine. I replied to another thread some where, not a thread on its own.

Here's the pics. The rest of my cyclone set-up is in my web page dai-sensei.com

have a look here (http://www.woodworkforums.com/f200/who-wants-small-cyclone-104322/index2.html#post1041427) at this post by osgood. I knew the thread you were referring to, but it took me ages to find it too

Thanks Jill - that is the one:2tsup: how on earth did you find it?

Neil thanks for posing the frame - its a great idea and will be my plan B if the suction approach doesn't work out.

Thanks guys,
Geoff
