on sunday i finally finished tidying up my paul call combination
i could of gone further and stripped the machines down but i didnt have the nerve in case they didnt go back together:D
my BIL fitted a new switch to the 3/4 hp gmf engine and i fitted s/s bolts to the frame holding down the jointer, saw and engine
i still have the pulleys to fit but the new red paint is still drying and i was to keen to post these pictures than wait,i have about 8 or so blades for the old girl of different teeth settings although they are old as well i am happy to get them sharpened down the road for the amount of times i use them
the tennon jig is sitting in the cupboard and i will get around to stripping her down in a few months

Ahh, you shouldn't have. :U

The stand you have the jointer sitting on, did you fabricate that yourself? If so, what a great result and with the chute for the shavings too. :2tsup:

One day I should redo my chute, given I now have enough gal sheet.

thanks wendy
it proves women are sometimes better at doing things:D
waldo the stand i believe came with the saw and jointer when dad bought it,he added the wheels later, maybe paul call contracted a fabrication firm to do it
if you get inspiration to do a stand i still have a pic of the frame before i put the machines on i think so drop us a line if you need a look when you have a go at building one
