I realise that it has been a few weeks since the Turnon, but I remembered the other day, when finishing my salt/pepper mills, Jim telling me the that EEE is NOT a finish but a finishing cream. After using EEE you then have to apply your final finish. Thanks Jim :2tsup:.

Yes john this is one of the most common mistakes.
EEE is a finisher not a finish, it is your last bit of sanding before you apply a finish.
It basically cut and polishes the timber to a finer finish.

I think of it as a fine abrasive that I try to remove before applying a finish... on the rare occasions I use it.
