So you guys have found out about our mad house then?:D

(:secret: Chucky, you don't have to put the title if you are answering a post.

Twas a good day. Mostly a "club" event, but a few "forumites" were there. Finishing is usually glossed over. (yuck yuck:rolleyes: ) cos it is thought that watching someone sand is not a good spectator sport, but a number of different finishes were discussed and demonstrated. Ken only sanded for 15 minutes. :cool: might have done a whole minutes sanding maybe.(A new record set!:D ) Lots of socialising and fratinizing between members of different groups. :oo: And a scrum of scroungers around Vic Woods trailer full of turning blanks and odd tools. (I picked up a woodcut gig for the grinder.:cool: And a useless 6mm parting tool, and a small stash of Jarrah burl to play with.:D ) (But I've got no photoes, so it could have nbeen in my imagination. :think: ):D:cool:

Ken was spraying Wattyl Stywood (nitrocellose lacquer) as a finish on his works of ART
As this product can only be purchased in 4lt containers you can always divide the qty with other people.
