For those of you who have been woodworking for a long time I would love your help and opinion. I have a wood bat company that makes baseball bats by hand using a Jet lathe. Our demand is rising and we need to step up to either a Tracer lathe or a CNC lathe. My problem is I know just generic information about both.

Any information on both would be greatly appreciated to help steer me in the right direction. I have seen the Hempel tracer lathes that Louisville Slugger uses but I need more information.

Thank you!

Hi DS, It kinda depends on your budget a CNC Router will all that you ask and more. But your gonna need a three axis at least and they will do one at a time. As you can see from the links they are not cheap.
