Hi all,
I am after two extra bango's for my TL1000 (old but I love it). so if there is anyone out there who has a spare bango hanging around and wants to palm it off, you can palm it my way.

Cheers Scott

Oh yeah, sorry, but I do not have any, I truly doubt if anyone has a spare banjo as lathes normally are supplied with just one, I cannot think of a reason to require another!

Scott, you can get new ones from Woodfast. Click (http://www.woodfast.com.au/index.php?p=1_8).

Obviously you'd have to check bed gap, thickness and clamp plate width.

Isn't the TL1000 the Teknatool lathe which has the square tube as the bed with a sleeve that slides up and down the bed?

Yes it is. It just so happens that it is my old lathe type.

Thanks everyone, I knew it was a long shot. It is the square tube type, it is still a good lathe that I can't justify an upgrade.

Might have to go to the local enginering mob and see if they can make some up.

A banjo is the bit that holds your toolrest and slides along the bed of the lathe
